{"id":193,"date":"2020-04-19T09:20:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-19T13:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenetworksdown.com\/?p=193"},"modified":"2025-11-26T11:23:39","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T16:23:39","slug":"studying-in-quarantine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenetworksdown.com\/?p=193","title":{"rendered":"Studying in Quarantine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;m taking advantage of my self-imposed quarantine after some onsite network engineering and design work in NYC over this past week&#8230; Using a bit of my &#8220;free time&#8221; to review a couple of Self Paced Design Courses from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAAN4kpYBUGK-ChBaEzkvjJhvB-HiM4NHc-M\">Orhan Ergun<\/a> and begin reading book I picked up from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/ACoAAAArOskBtuxJ8EVAKu4_dXt6x6ThoPL-tYQ\">Michel Thomatis, CCIE #6778<\/a>. It&#8217;s kind of nice to review a bit and sharpen some skills that have proven to be quite useful in my day to day life. Not to mention have a few &#8220;A-HA&#8221; moments and learn some stuff along the way. It&#8217;s a long road to become a Design Expert (then again so were the CCIEs), but it&#8217;s been a goal of mine for a long time. Time to switch gears and work out a bit. The mind and the body need to be balanced and work together after all.
