A Saturday morning turn up with my best friend and backup engineer (she actually knows more than I do; just ask her). She’s always there to help me out when I need it. This IP Cutover was done to enable a Church to continue their live stream services this weekend all over the world.
To all my aspiring engineers, my mentor-ees (I may have just made that word up) and vets in the Networking game: Whether it’s a quick Static IP assignment because a provider did a cut over 2 days before schedule, or an MP-BGP route reflector pushing route communities for MPLS connectivity between locations, take pride in what you do and always give it your best. Keep studying. Keep learning. Keep pushing.
